Affiliate & sponsorship disclosure

BrushBeatByte is free to read. To pay for it, we may use:

• Affiliate links. If you buy through some links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. These links are marked Affiliate link on cards and next to the outbound button, and they carry rel="sponsored nofollow". As of launch, no listing uses an affiliate link.
• Sponsored placements. Featured listings, site-wide sponsorships and newsletter slots are paid. They are marked Sponsored (and Featured where it applies). As of launch, no placements are sponsored.

Labels are applied automatically from each listing's data (affiliate and sponsored fields), so a paid item can't appear without them.

What money can't buy

• A Hybrid Showcase
• A "licensed" or "consented" training-data badge
• A favorable blurb, or removal of facts
• Acceptance of a free submission

This disclosure follows the spirit of the US FTC Endorsement Guides: clear and conspicuous, close to the link.
